KXNO Broomball Open

The first KXNO Broomball Open will be held Feb. 19th. I really don't have any other details from them yet, but apparently they have already signed up several teams (probably due to the interview they did with Mike Bowers)! Did anyone from the des moines league participate in this? If so, how did it go?

There was 3 league teams in it: Rented Mules, Ball Hawgs and Ice Monkeys. Two teams from KXNO participated also. It was fun but wasn't well organized. Only 5 of the ten teams showed up. Ice Monkeys beat Rented Mules in the final in overtime to win the whole thing. Ice Monkeys and Ball Hawgs went to a shoot out earlier that was won by the Ice Monkeys.
